I grew up in New England but have lived in Raleigh since 1991 along with my wife, Kim. We have two children, Elizabeth and Nick, who are grown up and out of the house, but close by, in Greensboro and Wilmington. Jesus has been a part of my life since 1982 but I never thought that I would be a Pastor. I spent 18 years with IBM as a software engineer and always felt I would retire from that wonderful company. I loved what I did and the people that I got to do the job with. However, God helped me walk through some very difficult personal times in 2000-2001. In the process of healing, I saw how my faith had grown as I let Jesus be not only my Savior for eternity, but also my Lord who leads me day to day. My mission became to help others find that same comfort and purpose in Jesus. In 2005, it became clear that God was asking me to carry out the same mission in a leadership position at Lifepointe. It has been a wonderful journey for me personally, as well as our family. I love introducing people to Jesus and helping them grow in their faith; no matter they are in that journey. If you are still checking Jesus out, come experience Lifepointe – it is a safe place to learn more and ask questions. Already a Christ follower? we’d love to help you grow in your faith as you help others connect with God.
