I grew up in West Virginia as the daughter of a pastor. My parents were deeply committed to ministry to people in small churches, and the home I grew up in always welcomed people in for conversation and sharing life together. When I was in 8th grade, I met a handsome guy who was a couple of years older than me, and I fell head-over- heels in love with him. I even told my sister I was going to marry him one day. That statement turned out to be prophetic, and I’m still crazy about that boy! We have three sons, so I have become quite an expert in things like football, hockey, and NCAA basketball. We also have six extremely intelligent and adorable grandkids. We started attending Lifepointe in 2008, and shortly thereafter, I started leading a weekly women’s Bible Study. I am passionate about small group ministry because I have experienced firsthand the spiritual transformation that takes place when people are intentional about connecting with other people who help them connect with God.
